Spring Topic 5
Plants
The focus for the next couple of weeks is Science. Throughout this topic, we will be exploring plants and their life cycle, planting and experimenting with how plants grow best. We will have an arrival of magic, golden beans that we will plant and imagine what they might grow into. We will be experimenting with plants during our topic to practise our scientific skills.

Learning objectives:
- observe and describe how seeds and bulbs grow into mature plants
- Find out and describe how plants need water, light and a suitable temperature to grow
and stay healthy

We are continuing to read 'The Night Gardener' and we will be writing a narrative and a diary this half term.
