For English this week there are

5 activities to complete - one for each day.  The Monday to Thursday activities can be found under pdf English and Friday I've had to upload separately.

  I have included a short presentation for apostrophes (Tuesday) and suffixes -ful and -less (Friday) for you to watch first. You can find these below.

Topic this week will focus on Geography skills.  Below are activities for you to do as you choose.

Activity 1 Compass points

Make and label a compass of your own.

Complete the compass directions activity sheet.  There are 3 to choose from with increasing difficulty.

Activity 2 All About the UK

Watch the power point on the UK

Label the map of the UK with the 4 countries.

Write a sentence about each country. 

Activity 3

Look at the aerial photos in the pack. Locate each country on a world map or use Google Earth

What can you see in each picture?

Complete the matching activity Up Above or From the Ground.

Activity 4

Watch the power point on Human and Physical Geography.

Write the headings Human and Physical on a piece of paper.

Look again at the photo pack from yesterday and list under the correct heading examples of physical geography you can see and human geography you can see in the pictures.

Use the word mats to support you.
