Maths
This week, we are moving away from Time. As mentioned last week, you now have all the time learning objectives covered in Year 3 on Remote Learning 8 and 9 so if this is something you feel perhaps needs more time spent on you can spend longer on it or email me for extra resources.
White Rose are still covering Fractions for one more week so I'm going to take this week as an opportunity to do some recapping of earlier learning, before covering new areas until the end of term. White Rose have provided alternatives to their fraction lessons covering addition and subtraction and also length and perimeter which means they include the useful videos. You can choose any 5 lessons to do from the selection below and find the corresponding videos on the 'alternative plan' document at the bottom of the list.

English
This is our last week on the Talk 4 Writing booklet 'Jungle'. Please feel free to send me any of your writing pieces to see!
Monday - Plan your instructions - page 18
Tuesday - Write your instructions - page 19
Wednesday - Finish writing and edit - check your spellings, punctuation and read through to make sure it makes sense. Can you improve any of your vocabulary? Remember to use a dictionary and a thesaurus if you have one - or use online versions with adult supervision.
Thursday/Friday - Choose one of the additional writing challenges from page 19 - use all your previous knowledge from that genre of writing - perhaps do a plan and then remember to check over it.
