Remote Learning Week 2

English, Maths & Topic: Please choose 1 activity per day.

Each week I will be putting activities on this page. There will be roughly 5 pieces of maths and English and 3 pieces of topic work. I will also put on reading comprehension activities too.

Maths: I have uploaded a Mathletics workbook for pupils to work through as additional. Following on from work on multiplication over the past 2 weeks, division is the next maths topic. Try to work through the powerpoint to remind yourself how to work on short division (bus stop method)and follow the slides through. The X and Division flashback will be a good reminder.  You can work through the division tasks at your own pace but try to do it in order. Division first then division with remainders.

English: Follow through the powerpoint as a revision on cohesive devices within writing. There will be some things that you may have forgotten or indeed don't think you have come across. Write a couple of sentences for each slide e.g determiners, pronouns, conjunctions and adverbials. there is also some proof reading and subject/verb agreement. Don't forget you also have your CGP books to work through too.

Have a good week. Email me if you need any help or just a query.
