Our new topic is...
Living things and their habitats

Our new topic will be a science focused unit learning all about living things and their habitats. Within this unit we will be looking at different life cycles and reproduction, as well as finding out about the work of some naturalists and animal behaviourists.

This unit covers the National Curriculum objectives:

• describe the differences in the life cycles of a mammal, an amphibian, an insect and 
  a bird
• describe the life process of reproduction in some plants and animals.

Maths

We are starting a new maths unit covering position and direction. 

English

Our writing purpose is to discuss and our writing outcome is a balanced argument. 

Our focus text is Anthony Browne's King Kong.
