Our topic for after February half term is...
LET IT SHINE
During this topic we will learn the following objectives:
Recognise that light appears to travel in straight lines.
To represent and report on findings.
To take accurate measurements.
To identify and manage variables in an investigation.
Explain that we see things because light travels from light sources to our eyes or from light sources to objects and then to our eyes.
Use the idea that light travels in straight lines to explain that objects are seen because they give out or reflect light into the eye.
Use the idea that light travels in straight lines to explain why shadows have the same shape as the objects that cast them.
We will be completing our class read
We will be completing our algebra work and moving on to converting measures in maths. In English, we will be using a fantastic text, which I will share once the topic has started - we have some prediction work to do first. We will be writing narratives and completing non-fiction writing.
