Spring Term 1


Our topic this term is 'expeditions' and we will be learning about hot and cold climates. 


The first part of our topic is titled 'Frozen landscapes'. We will be learning about the Polar regions and the people and the animals who live and work in these regions.

We will also learn about Felicity Aston a famous British Explorer. 


In the second part of our topic we will learn about places with warmer climates (watch this space!)


We will be reading a range of stories and non- fiction texts together, including Polar Bear, Polar Bear, What Do You Hear? by Eric Carle and A Flower in the Snow by Tracey Corderoy.
