MATHS:
For Maths I'd like you to complete the place value numbers to 100 sheets below.
MONDAY: Practise counting to 100 in ones, use the 100 square to help you if you need to from Top Marks. Then complete the missing numbers activity. Make sure you get your numbers the right way round AND think about your tens and ones too.
TUESDAY: Counting to 100 again then complete the 100 square missing numbers sheet.
WEDNESDAY: Jigsaw missing numbers to 100 - use the 100 square to help you if you need to!

This week we will be exploring the environmental issue of plastic pollution in the seas and oceans.
Look at the image below, this is a photograph of litter that was left very recently on Bournemouth beach in June.
This image is from a newspaper.
Please spend time looking at the power points above with your child and discussing the issue of plastic pollution.
Activity 1: Design a poster to be displayed near the beach. Your poster should be bright and colourful and needs to display a clear message that people should bin or take their litter home. You may wish to include some of the key facts that you have learnt about the oceans.
Activity 2: Draw or paint a picture of your ideal ocean, full of fish, sea creatures and plants. You may do this using any media e.g. colours, paints, collage, glitter.
