Our key focus question will be... Why was winning the Battle of Britain in 1940 so important? 

 

We will cover the following National Curriculum History objective: 

• a study of an aspect or theme in British history that extends pupils’ chronological knowledge beyond 1066

 

       We will be ending our topic with an exciting trip to the Royal Air Force Museum in Cosford, where the                     children will take part in a workshop on the Battle of Britain, as well as exploring the hangers and different             exhibitions on offer.
