Spring Term - Topic 2
Living things and their habitats
The focus for this topic is science.
We will be focussing on animals and their different habitats and we will be starting with a workshop ran by Animals Take Over - getting up close to animals from lots of different habitats.

Learning objectives
To explore and compare the differences between things that are living, dead, and things that have never been alive.
To identify that most living things live in habitats and micro-habitats to which they are suited.
To describe how different habitats provide for the basic needs of different kinds of animals and plants.
To describe how animals obtain their food from plants and other animals.
To use the idea of a simple food chain.
To identify and name different sources of food.
We are currently reading...
In English, we are reading 'Bog Baby' and we will be writing our own finding narrative and instructions based on the book.
